Leighton House Museum, W14

Feasibility study for the Perrin Wing of Leighton House Museum.

Extension and re-adaptation of a Grade II listed museum in the Holland Park Conservation Area. The proposal is the latest addition to a multiple number of extensions that have given Leighton House the special character and history it has today.

The proposal transforms the Perrin Wing to create new visitor facilities and museum archives. The new entrance at ground floor level provides open views to its immediate street context, a new reception, museum shop and improved access throughout the property.  A multi-use education and refreshments area facing the rear gardens serves the local community and visitors, opening up and reinstating the original features and volumes of the historic house.
